Marinara Meatballs Homemade italian recipe
If we talk about italian meatballs than we talk about comfort food! I will show you in this video the easy way of making the nicest and easiest meatballs recipe.
Ingredients for the tomato sauce:
-1 onion
-2 cloves garlic
-1 bunch Fresh parsley
-1 litre tomato passata
-100 gr tomato puree
-50 gr parmigiano regiano
-30 ml olive oil
-Fresh basil
-Salt,pepper,cayenne pepper (optional)

Ingredients for meatballs:
700 gr Beef and veal minced meat
60 gr parmesan cheese
1 free range egg
100 ml milk
40 gr breadcrumbs
Fresh parsley
1 clove garlic
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper

Now with the herbs,garlic and onion i was lucky to have them in my garden.

Starting with the sauce i just sweat the onions and garlic in the olive oil,i add the seasoning and after the tomato passata,the tomato puree and the basil. Make sure you mix it well to incorporate the puree in the passata. I left it to cook for 30-35 min on medium heat . Extremely simple(this is the fast version).
For the meatballs i mix all the ingredients from above and i formed the balls a little bit smaller than the golf balls. In a hot pan i heat up 500 ml of oil and i cook them 5 min on each side. After it all cooked i add the meatballs in the tomato sauce ,i add the parmesan cheese and the fresh parsley . I serve this with some garlic bread and but you can also serve it in a sub roll or a slider with some nice cheese on top,with potatoes or just with rice! If you would like to make spaghetti with meatballs than you need to make the meatballs a little bit smaller.
