It’s a family affair at Locale, an Old World-style Italian restaurant in Patchogue, N.Y., that boats a New World Vibe.
And patriarch Fabrizio Castelli, a Sicilian immigrant whose family’s experience in restaurants goes back over a century, knows Locale is in good hands with his children at the helm.
Guiseppe’s culinary skills, Fransesco’s bolognese and pizzette-making talents and Ariana’s managerial expertise “bring us together as a whole,” Castelli tells Greater Long Island TV.
The 4,700-square-foot restaurant opened at 15 West Main Street in March of 2017 in the New Village complex.
As Castelli tells it, the hope is that everyone who visits Locale, or their Primo Piatto in Huntington, is made to feel like family.
“We look at this as an extension of our home,” he says.
