Pasta is integrant part of Italy’s food history. Wherever Italians immigrated they have carried their pasta along, so much so today it can be considered a staple of international cuisine. Most of the people believe that pasta was brought to Italy by Marco Polo via China. Polo ventured to China in the time of the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368) However, pasta can be traced back as far as the 4th century B.C., where an Etruscan tomb showed a group of natives making what appears to be pasta.
