Pasta is integrant part of Italy’s food history. Wherever Italians immigrated they have carried their pasta along, so much so today it can be considered a staple of international cuisine. Polo ventured to China in the time of the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368) However, pasta can be traced back as far as the 4th century B.C., where an Etruscan tomb showed a group of natives making what appears to be pasta.
