A super SIMPLE & tasty tomato versatile and BASIC SAUCE that goes with so many recipes
Ingredients:
600 gr / 21,37 oz Passata Tomato ( please read the ingredients on the jar, must be tomato and salt ONLY )
400 gr / 14,11 oz Polpa, Finely chopped tomatoes
7/8 TBsp Extra virgin olive oil
1 pich of salt
1 pinch of sugar
a bunch of Basil
Cook 1 hour at medium-low heat and add water in case the sauce is thinckening too much during cooking
Adjust salt ad the end of cooking
