Hi Neighbors,
today was a nice day in the kitchen making Bolognese sauce. One thing that I forgot and often add are 2 dried bay leaf.
I like frying the sausage in the fry pan first because if it is a meat that releases too much fat it is easier for me to strain than lifting the heavier cast iron pot. some sausage for some reason seems to have more fat than others even sometimes if same brand at least I find.
Note there were 2 cans of tomatoes
2 crushed
1 stewed that I crushed up by hand
