this is a very easy Italian bread recipe that you can use to make a delicious garlic cheese bread.

Ingredients: 1 cup hot water (250 mL)

1 tsp. white sugar (5g)

2 1/4 tsp. active dry yeast (12g)

2 Tbsp. olive oil (30mL)

2 1/2 cups of bread flour or all-purpose flour (320g)

1 tsp salt (5g)

Tools:
Wooden spoon
Bowl
Baking sheet Silicone baking mat or parchment paper or kitchen spray

Step 1: Start the yeast. Add sugar to hot water (105 to 115F) Let sit for 10 minutes until foamy.

Step 2: Add Olive Oil, Stir, then add about 1 cup of the flour

Step 3: Add, Salt and about another cup of the flour, stir until the dough comes together, it will be a bit tacky.

Step 4: Knead dough on floured surface, for 8 to 10 minutes, until the dough is smooth, soft, and elastic.

Step 5: Place dough in oiled bowl, cover, and let the dough rise for 1 hour.

Step 6: Shape dough then cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.

Step 7: Preheat the oven to 400 F. Cut slits in the top of the dough. Then bake the bread for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown on top.

Step 8: Let bread cool, then cut into bread about 1.5 inches of thickness in each slice and serve. If you’d like to turn your fresh baked bread into garlic cheese bread continue below

Step 9. Make garlic butter, 1 whole stick of butter (salted or unsalted) melted.

Step 10. Add 6 cloves of garlic minced or grated or 3 tablespoons of already minced garlic.

Step 11. Add 3 tablespoons of parsley or use fresh parsley.

Step 12. Add 1 teaspoon of garlic powder and stir butter mixture.

Step 13. Lather butter mixture on each slice of bread generously.

Step 14. Top each slice with cheese mixture, which is 1 cup of mozzarella & 1 cup of parmasean Romano

Step 15. Place bread in oven at 400° for 8-10 minutes or until melted and bubbly. Enjoy!
