Chiacchiere di carnevale (also called Frappe, Bugie, Sfrappole, etc. ) are Italian fried cookies known abroad as Angel Wings because of their ribbon-like shape. These crispy strips of deep fried pasta dough are amazingly light and sprinkled with confectioner’s sugar.
Chiaccchiere (Frappe) are traditionally made for Carnevale in Italy.
