In this episode I visit Cafe Carmela located 2859 Holmes ave. Philadelphia right by the Holmes Circle. Cafe Carmela opened March 2020 and is destined to be a great establishment in the Northeast. Big thanks to owner Joe and staff for a great experience. I was able to taste the fresh pizza, spaghetti bolognese and the chicken cutlet sandwich. The pizza pie was my favorite. It was cheesy, crunchy and very flavorful. The chicken cutlet was a classic sandwich with crumbled cheese, seeded roll, broccoli rab and a huge fried chicken cutlet. This sandwich can be shared with 2 people. Lastly the spaghetti bolognese was super fresh and creamy. An absolute classic tasting dish. Check them out for some great authentic italian philly eats.
