Dr. Alif Chebbi, postdoctoral fellow, member of the research group MicroDISAT at the Department of Environmental and Earth Sciences, University of Milano Bicocca – Italy, explained the progress achieved during the first phase of CREIAMO project, regarding the production of biosurfactants using agricultural residues from olive oil and winery sectors.
Research Group MicroDISAT are part of the partners of CREIAMO project, who are working in the biosurfactant synthesis using winery residues for potential applications to treat hydrocarbon-contaminated soils.
