v48 | Spaghetti alla Puttanesca by Echo’s Kitchen😋
Good morning!
For today’s cooking vlog, I’m going to share with you my version of Spaghetti alla Puttanesca recipe.
This Italian pasta dish is aromatic, very tasty and is quick to make. This food is so flavourful, and yet the ingredients you’ll need are simple and the cooking procedure is so easy. I hope you’ll try it and let me how it turns out.
INGREDIENTS:
200 g of Spaghetti Pasta
2 cans of Tomato sauce (30 oz)
2-3 pcs of Anchovy Fillets
3 Cloves of Garlic, sliced thinly
2 Tbsp of Capers, drained
1/2 Cup of Kalamata Olives, sliced in half
1 Tbsp of Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper
Chopped fresh parsley
Pinch of Dried Chili Flakes, optional
Helpful Tips:
1. Buy the anchovy packed in oil not in salt.
2. You can use sweet basil instead of parsley.
3. If you want to cook the pasta in advance, boil and cook for exactly 7 minutes only then drain. And when you add the cooked pasta into the sauce, season and cook for 1-2 minutes only, we want the pasta perfectly al dente and not mushy.
4. You may also add fresh chili pepper instead of dried chili flakes.
5. You can also buy the peeled Italian crushed tomatoes in can if you can find it in your local supermarket instead of regular tomato sauce.
