Spaghetti Arrabbiata Recipe

Ingredients :

Spaghetti – 100g
Chopped onions – 30g
Chilli flakes – 30g
Olive oil – 30ml
Garlic – 2-3 cloves
Dry Basil – 2g
Oregano – 2g
Tomatoes – 100g
Black Pepper Powder – 5g
Sugar – 10g
Salt – To taste
Sliced olives – For garnish 2-3 olives slices

Method

1. Boil Spaghetti in 500 ml water for 8 mins, drain and cool under running water

For Sauce

1. Blanch the tomatoes and skin it
2. Cut into half and squeeze to de seed the tomatoes, preserve the juice after straining.
3. Roughly chop tomatoes and crush the garlic with help of knife
4. Heat pan, add olive oil add chopped onions, chopped garlic and sauté it for few seconds, add Tomatoes and cook for few minutes.
5. Add salt, sugar, herbs, crushed black pepper corns strained tomatoes juice and cook it for few more minutes, remove from fire and keep in a bowl

For Pasta

1. Heat pan add olive oil crushed garlic, chilli flakes, crushed black pepper corns, herbs and boiled spaghetti.
2. Toss for few seconds, add tomato sauce and toss for few seconds.
3. Serve hot garnished with olives, crushed black peppers and chilli flakes
