Super easy and very quick recipe. if you love chicken and mushroom so why not to try this.
I have added a bit of Italian twist to it. I hope you guys will definitely like this.
Ingredients:
Boneless Chicken : 200 gms
Mushroom : 4 pc
Butter : 2 tbsp
All purpose flour : 2 tbsp
Italian herbs : 1/2 tbsp
Milk : 1 Cup
Garlic powder : 1 tbsp (Can be replaced with chopped garlic)
Chili flakes
Oil: 1 tbsp
Pepper powder
Salt to taste
Method-
– Wash and clean the chicken. Cut into pieces.
– Add Salt and pepper powder to the chicken and mix well. Allow to rest for 10 mins
– In the mean time, cut some mushroom into slices
– Add oil to a pan, place the cut mushroom piece. Add a pinch of salt and fry the mushrooms till golden brown.
Cook on medium heat.
– Fry the chicken on low med heat till slightly golden brown. Do not over cook else the chicken will be chewy.
– Add a little butter to the pan. Once the butter melted,keep the flame on low and add 2 tbsp of all purpose flour (maida).
– Mix it properly and cook for 2-3 mins
– Add Milk (1 cup) and mix well. Cook till the consistency will be slightly thick.
– Add Garlic powder (1 tbsp), Italian herbs -1/2 tbsp, Chilli flakes as required (if using chopped garlic in place of garlic powder,
saute it first with butter and then add the all purpose flour)
– Once the consistency will be thick, add the chicken and mushrooms to it.
– Mix it well and cook for a min and its done
– Serve hot
Tips-
– Do not over fry the chicken else it will not be juicy.
– Can use chopped garlic in place of garlic powder. But saute it with butter before adding the all purpose flour.
– Do not make the creamy base runny. It tastes better when thick.
