Amy Ezrin is an importer for The Piedmont Gal of the The Piedmont Guy. They are a national boutique importer of only wines from the Piedmont Region of Italy.
She also does some consulting, which is largely focused on selecting small- to medium-sized wineries and connecting them with North American importers, but she has also done promotional campaigns with regional entities and PR agencies.
Her contribute to The HUMANS of Wine Project focuses on how the wine business has been turned upside down and how the consumers are adapting to this new reality.
“If there’s one positive thing to be had out of this catastrophe, it’s that there will be serious innovation to come out of it and hopefully some much needed structural change for the wine world.”
