This Italian flatbread recipe shows you how to make the famous ‘piadina’, popular throughout Italy. They make for a great dinner for the family or for friends and you can put literally anything you like in them! For me, it’s always about putting a nice mixture of prosciutto crudo, mozzarella, tomato and rocket as this really creates that authentic taste I remember growing up with.

⇨ For written recipe:
1. Make sure you work that dough very well for at least 15-20 minutes so that it gets really smooth and silky!
2. ‘Le piadine’ need to be very thin – so make sure you don’t make them too thick!
3. The pan has to be VERY hot before adding that first piadina.
4. Don’t forget to flip the flatbread when you start to see those bubbles appearing.
5. Put any ingredients you like inside! Go for it!
