BEST GLUTEN FREE BREAD RECIPE🥖🍞🥐 – Homemade Bread How-To

I have Celiac and prior to going on our honeymoon, had not found a “to die for” GF bread. Since we returned from Italy, Sam has been working to perfect his homemade gluten free bread. After many requests for the recipe, we’ve decided to create a How-To. All instructions and ingredients are listed below. Hope you enjoy!

Ingredients needed:
-1000g or 1 bag of Caputo Fiore Glut Flour
– 850g of warm water
– 20g of yeast (active dry or instant works great)
– 35g of salt (I used kosher)
– 50g of olive oil

Equipment:
Kitchen Scale, Stand Mixer with Bread Hook, Oven, Dutch oven with lid

1) In the stand mixer’s bowl, mix the water and yeast until combined.
2) Pour half of the Caputo Fiore Glut Flour into the water and yeast mix.
3) Start your mixer on low, slowly incorporating your olive oil and salt.
4) Pour in the rest of the flour and mix, starting on low and raising to medium, for 3-4 minutes.
5) Remove dough hook, cover bowl and leave to rise for an hour or so.
6) Pre-heat oven with your cooking vessel to 425 F for at least an hour.
7) Portion around half of your dough out with well oiled hands, smooth into a ball and place into the bottom of your oiled cooking vessel. Freeze the rest of the dough for later use or make a second loaf.
8) Cook covered for 30 minutes.
9) Remove lid and cook uncovered for another 15-20 minutes or until your desired texture is reached.
10) Let cool for at least an hour on a cooling rack before slicing.
11) Enjoy!!!

This bread goes great with a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar, or even with plain old butter when toasted!
