On April 4, a group of 20 Ukrainian medical workers arrived in the Italian region of Marche to help combat the novel coronavirus pandemic. Glib Bitiukov, a nurse at Kyiv City Clinical Hospital 17, was helping Italian doctors in the city of Pesaro. He told the Kyiv Post about his experiences working at the Italian hospital, the challenges for Ukrainian and Italian doctors and the valuable lessons he learned for the Ukrainian health care system.
