Italian style Meatball recipe (Polpette)
These are great way to start off a nice Italian meal. The keep a week in the fridge and warm up super easily. You can use the leftovers to make fantastic meatball subs.
Ingredients
Makes a large double portion
3 pounds of ground meat (in this video we use Beef, Pork, and Veal but you can substitute meats to your liking)
6 eggs
2 cups on panko breadcrumbs
3/4 cup of milk
3 tablespoons of olive oil (plus extra for your hands as you form the balls)
5 bulbs of garlic
1 cup of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese
3 pinches of salt and pepper
2 teaspoons of onion powder
(optional) tomato sauce to simmer the meatballs in
