In this episode, we take your taste buds to the south of Italy. One of her childhood favourites, Myriam will prepare “pasta cu li bròccoli arriminati” or “pasta con broccoli” in short, one of Palermo’s famous dishes, loved by most Sicilians.
In Palermo, when they talk about broccoli, they mean cauliflowers. The typical pasta is bucatino but in today’s episode we are using spaghetti as we are in quarantine. We are also using roasted almonds as a substitute for pine puts, which is also very common in Sicilian dishes. Buon appetito!
