BOSSIER CITY, La. — Notini’s Italian Restaurant has announced that it will permanently close its doors at 2013 Airline Drive on Sept. 25, bringing to a close more than four decades of serving generations of families throughout the ArkLaTex.
Founded in June 1981, Notini’s was established by Jerry Kolniak, his brother Ronnie, and their father Stanley in honor of Jerry’s grandfather, Antonio Notini. Antonio immigrated from Barga, Italy in 1909 and spent his career in the restaurant business, inspiring the values of hospitality, hard work, and family that became the cornerstone of Notini’s.
Over the past 45 years, Notini’s has become more than a restaurant. It has been a gathering place where birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, first dates, family dinners, and countless everyday moments became lifelong memories. Known for its scratch-made Italian recipes and welcoming atmosphere, the restaurant earned a reputation as one of the region’s most beloved local dining destinations.
In November 2019, Tim Huck and Grayson Bailey assumed ownership of Notini’s and were honored to continue the tradition established by the Notini family. Since then, they have remained committed to preserving the restaurant’s legacy while serving the loyal customers and community that have supported Notini’s for generations.
“It is with both heavy hearts and deep gratitude that we announce the closing of Notini’s,” said owners Tim Huck and Grayson Bailey. “It has been an incredible privilege to carry on such an important local tradition. We are profoundly grateful to every guest who chose to celebrate life’s special moments with us and to every employee who helped make Notini’s feel like home.”
The owners expressed their appreciation to the restaurant’s dedicated staff, both past and present, whose passion and commitment helped define the Notini’s experience for generations of guests.
