🌿 Life in Tuscany, Italy vlog: repotting birch trees from Belarus, farm eggs from Calabria, and preserving dill for winter
In this Tuscan vlog, you’ll find a true mix of cultures, flavors, and small everyday joys.
00:51 – 🌳 I’m repotting two birch trees I brought from Belarus, as well as a young sea buckthorn plant, into new pots. I’ll share which soil I chose and why I decided to give the plants more space to grow.
08:13 – 🥚 I’ll show you an unusual parcel from Calabria with farm-fresh eggs. These hens were fed goji berries and moringa, so the eggs have a deep, rich yolk color and an interesting nutritional profile.
10:20 – 🌿 We’ll visit the Metro store, where I buy fresh dill, and then I’ll show my method for preserving herbs for the freezer.
13:17 – 🏛️ I’ll also show my favorite shelf above my desk — a place where different cultures and memories come together: a matryoshka doll from Moscow, a little domovoy from Belarus’ Dudutki, and statues of David and Venus from Florence.
