My wife and I decided to quit our jobs and go traveling around the world together. This vlog in Italy was the last country that we visited. By this point of our trip we had already been traveling for about a month and a half so we were super exhausted which led to plenty of funny, goofy moments! 🤣
It has always felt like Italy has been calling us and it didn’t disappoint, it’s one of the most beautiful, interesting and fun places to visit. There’s nothing quite like a pizza in Italy!
Join us on our Italy travel vlog as we explore Venice, where we had our first authentic Italian pizza! Next was Florence where we smelt the stinky streets while we admired the incredible architecture, famous statues, and the stunning Cathedral of Santa Maria!
Next we escaped to the countryside of San Gimignano in Tuscany! Honestly it felt like paradise! We stayed in an amazing cozy cottage where we made some amazing memories, surrounded by rolling hills, local shops, and eating amazing food! After that we made our way to Sorrento, including a chaotic travel day where I got sick along the way and vomited in the streets 🙃. Thankfully the insane, beautiful cliffs of Positano, and the incredible food quickly made up for it!
Finally, we wrapped up our Italy adventure in Rome, exploring the Colosseum, Roman Forum, ancient prisons, and enjoying one last taste of Italian culture before heading home to NZ.
