Welcome back to our Tuscany adventure! In Day 3 of our Italian road trip, we explore some of the most stunning locations in the Val d’Orcia region of Tuscany.
Our day starts at Podere Il Casale, a beautiful organic hilltop farm where we enjoy a fantastic tour, incredible local food, homemade cheese, and wine, all while taking in breathtaking views across the Tuscan countryside.
Next, we visit the iconic Vitaleta Chapel, one of the most photographed spots in Tuscany and a filming location featured in Gladiator. We then wander through the picturesque medieval village of Monticchiello and stop for a delicious Italian gelato.
To finish the day, we discover the White Whale, a unique outdoor thermal spring and one of Tuscany’s lesser-known hidden gems.
