In this video I show you how to make tasty Italian Olive, Lemon & Herb Ciabatta bread from scratch at home. A two rise process from start to finish, step by step you will find out how to mix the ingredients, handwork the dough, shape and form, and then bake to perfection!

Packed with Kalamata olives, lemon zest and brushed with Italian herb seasoning, this bread will compliment any savoury meal, especially pasta and of course lasagne. It also compliments Italian cold cuts and a variety of cheeses and salads.

Ingredients

500g Strong bread flour
50ml Extra virgin olive oil
250ml tepid water
1 sachet (7 – 9g) quick acting yeast
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1 and a half teaspoons fine sea salt
zest of one lemon
1 jar Kalamata olives
Italian herb seasoning
