Alchemical kitchen
Water, plants, grain, sun, moon
Hammer, paper, oven, freezer
Recipes are alchemical signposts.
They map the transformations of territory and people.
The artistic process is a kind of alchemy. The Alchemical Kitchen references the transformations of nature through our working with it, striving for a mutually beneficial relationship, and recognizing our responsibilities.
