4 nights in a Tuscan agriturismo near Montepulciano. Slow living, incredible food, and way too much wine 🍷

We stayed at Agriturismo La Terra, where we did a cooking class, relaxed, and used it as our base to explore the region. One of the highlights was a picnic with charcuterie at Caseificio Cugusi Silvana, plus a wine tasting and lunch at Podere della Bruciata — an “Artisan Heroic Wine Tasting on the Terrace” experience overlooking the hills of Montepulciano.

We also took a day trip into Florence to see the Uffizi Gallery and Michelangelo’s David, but it felt very crowded compared to the calm of Tuscany, and made us question if the countryside was actually the real highlight.

This trip was all about good food, long lunches, cooking together, and fun family + boyfriend travel chaos.
