This Nikky is starting to bring some color into her life – literally. The crusty old window frames are getting a makeover! There’s also plenty moments of calm beauty from the surroundings, birds and landscapes – as well as some hands-on DIY projects!

We continue working on our abandoned farmhouse, slowly bringing it back to life while finding our rhythm here in the countryside. Step by step, we’re learning, building, and creating something of our own.

This is part of our journey of turning this place into a home — and embracing everything that comes with it.

Thank you for being here 🤍

  1. I have been watching you and your brother since you first bought the house. You are inspirational, Nikki. Bless you both 🙏 I'm in Australia and love your videos

  2. I’m so jealous!!!! You and Dillon have created a wonderful life! So happy for you. I’ve been watching you for years now. You both deserve this!❤

  3. The color on the window frame is beautiful. It will always make you feel wonderful when you look outside. Glad you found the drone. It's a nice one. Your new cutter is awesome! The flowers are gorgeous! They have a very fragrant smell. They are called IRIS. You can divide them and put them in other places. They will double every year. The outdoor shower! So wonderful to have after working in the hot sun. Love DYI. Your very creative!

  4. I don't know what kind of paint you are using, but most paints just protect. Maybe a linseed oil based paint would also nourish such a dry window?

  5. So proud of everything you do to improve the state of your farmhouse little by little.
Dylan will be excited to see everything you have done since he was last home.
