Healthy Protein Pasta Meal Prep in 30 Minutes 🍝

Ingredients:
-48 oz. (3 lbs) of 93% lean ground turkey
-56 oz. (2 large cans) of crushed tomatoes
-32 oz. (2 packages) of protein pasta
-3 medium zucchini, quartered and thinly sliced
-1 large yellow onion, small diced
-1 cup finely grated carrot
-1/2 cup nutritional yeast (or parmesan cheese)
-2 tbs tomato paste
-1 tbs minced garlic
-1 tsp onion powder
-1 tsp garlic powder
-1 tsp dried oregano
-1 tsp dried basil
-1 tsp dried parsley
-1/2 tsp salt
-1/2 tsp pepper
-1/4 tsp red chili flakes
-olive oil for cooking
Instructions:
-heat a large pot on high heat and add 1 tbs olive oil
-add in the turkey and cook until browned
-add in onions and garlic until browned and translucent, respectively
-add in the tomato paste, above seasonings, zucchini, and carrot; mix well
-add in crushed tomatoes, mix well, and cover with a lid
-lower the heat to low and simmer for 20 min while the pasta cooks
-bring a large pot with 6 quarts of water to a boil and add 1 tsp salt
-cook the pasta until al dente and strain out the water
-add the pasta back to the pot and mix in a bit of oil to prevent sticking
-combine the sauce and pasta; mix in nutritional yeast or parmesan cheese
-build the bowls and store in the fridge for up to 5 days or in the freezer for up to 6 months
