That parmesan in your fridge might not be real. This video reveals that much of the pre-grated parmesan cheese sold may not be real, raising serious questions about food safety and food quality. Investigators found some brands contain cellulose, a wood pulp filler, with one brand having no actual cheese, highlighting potential fraud within the food industry and the hidden ingredients in food that impact the consumer. #FoodSecrets #ParmesanCheese #FoodFraud #FoodFacts #shorts

The FDA tested pre-grated parmesan cheese and found something shocking inside.
Many brands were filling their containers with up to 9% cellulose — a filler derived from wood pulp — to prevent clumping. It’s technically legal. Some had no real parmesan at all, just a blend of cheaper cheeses. The cheese industry calls it an “anti-caking agent.” You can call it what it actually is: sawdust.

  1. Reminder that cellulose is 100% non toxic and safe for consumption and used in many foods. Also, cinnamon is literally bark from a tree

  2. Cellulose is plant fibre if you’ve eaten a fruit or veggie you’ve eaten cellulose I hate the wood pulp argument it makes it sound unhealthy only reason to not get pre grated is it’s too much it doesn’t taste as good to you or it doesn’t melt as good

  3. guys it is is just plant fiber if you have had a vegetable ever then you have eaten “wood pulp”
