About a month ago I was scrolling through Reddit and I saw a post by u/IndicationSea1410 with a heck of a tasty looking pie and the caption "if you're in the MA/RI area, let me know, I would love to make you a pizza." Well I live in one of those states and my in laws are in the other so I messaged him and lo and behold, we're just a few miles apart!!
Josh very generously made us three pizzas today to have for lunch. All of us were so impressed. The "tomato pie" is a Rhode Island institution and was actually everyone's favorite despite its simplicity. Sweet tomato sauce, salty parm, what else could you ask for?? The pepperoni was LOADED with garlic, one of the most flavor-packed bites of pizza I've had. The cheese was a classic and our 14 month old daughter demolished it–her first whole slice of pizza!
