I just finished one of my favorite types of itineraries this week.
A couple who’s been coming to Italy every year — quietly scouting, trying to figure out where they might want to live one day.
They found me through a podcast. And what they needed was really specific — someone to make sure their weeks in Umbria and Lucca felt less like a vacation and more like a real test run for a life there.
So we built hikes. Wine estates. Time with artisans. Stays that put them inside the rhythm of the place — not on the outside looking in.
I’ve been exactly where they are. That pull toward Italy — knowing you want it to be more than just a trip — and not quite knowing how to get there.
Getting to be part of someone moving closer to that dream is honestly just a joy for me. It’s the best part of this work.
If that’s where you are — dreaming about Italy, whether that’s a trip or something more — I’d love to help you get there.
