



This is my second attempt at a Sicilian style pan pizza. The first one was good, but the bread wasn't airy enough. Learned from my mistakes and the second attempt turned out much better.
Based on the wonderful Alexandra's Kitchen recipe plus some tweaks from Emma's Goodies NO-Knead Focaccia Bread recipe.
For the toppings i really wanted a rustic farm flavor – mozzarella, tomato sauce, Salami Milano, pan roasted green peppers, red onions, sweet marinade pickles, oregano and some garlic powder. Loosely inspired by farmers pizza from Ikea with similar ingredients. Added some extra cheese for the crust on the sides.
Really happy with the results, tastes delicious.
