Baked my first homemade pizza tonight. Pizza steel in oven, set for Bake at 550. Came back an hour later to prepare my pizza and put it in. 5min in and pizza doesn't look as baked as I expected. Give it another 2min and pull it… Realized that my oven was no longer on and no longer set at 550.

I've got another dough ball in the fridge so will give it a second go this weekend, but trying to figure out what went wrong.

It's a brand new oven, but did it turn off the heat bc it was at such a high temp? Or maybe I accidentally, and unknowingly turned it off? Do I need to use convection instead of bake? Thinking I'm going to let it go for 45min next time.
