My family has been firing up the ovens at D'Arc's in Windber since 1960. For over 60 years, the debate in our shop has never ended: The Original 1960 Sheet Pan Square vs. our New York Style Round.
Growing up in the "blood, sweat, and tears" of a legacy shop, I’ve seen families split down the middle over this. One side swears by the corner piece of a seasoned tin; the other won't touch a slice unless they can fold it.
But I want to know from the purists: If you walk into a shop that’s been open since the 60s, which one are you ordering first?
- Team Square: The seasoned tin, the corner crunch, the 1960 original.
- Team Round: The classic fold, the NY style, the modern favorite.
Let’s settle this—Windber style! 🇮🇹
