Creamy baked mac & cheese (6–8 servings)

Pasta:
1 lb cavatappi (boil slightly under al dente)

Cheese (~4–5 cups total):
1 cup havarti
1 cup orange cheddar
1 cup white cheddar
1 cup mozzarella
½–1 cup fontina

Sauce:
4 tbsp butter
4 tbsp flour
3 cups milk
1 cup heavy cream
3.5 oz cream cheese

Seasoning:
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
½ tsp black pepper
1 chicken bouillon cube (grated)

Steps:
Melt butter + seasoning + bouillon
Add flour → cook 1–2 min
Slowly add milk + cream while whisking
Simmer until slightly thick
Add cream cheese → mix smooth
Add cheese (off heat) → melt
Mix with pasta

Bake:
Layer with cheese
Bake at 375°F for 15–20 min
Broil 2–3 min until golden
