Debating if I should move the steel up one notch in my oven. Didn’t taste burnt or anything. Cooked for 7 minutes 550F, 1min broil.

  1. Nope, looks perfect! We call that “char”, not burnt. Little bit o’ char.

    As long as it doesn’t taste ashy, and the crispy burnt bites you do get fade quickly to pizza’y goodness, I don’t think it is burnt.
