So, I made dough this morning for tonight. A buddy showed up that I haven't seen in a while. Trying to be helpful, my 15yo daughter asked to make the sauce. It calls for 1-1/3 TBSP of sugar, somehow she put in 1-1/3 cups. It actually didn't turn out bad, almost like BBQ sauce on pizza which can be very good. This is 1/2 Margarita pepperoni 1/2 Applegate uncured pepperoni and hot Italian venison sausage. I think I might increase the amount of sugar in my sauce, but not that much. Overall, it's still edible.

I would think all that sugar would carmelize and you would develop a very sticky sauce.
For some reason all I can think of is Korean sticky wing sauce consistency.
Are you sure you wrote that correctly..1 1/3 tbsp compared to 1 1/3 cups is an insane increase but hey if you did and it still tasted alright then consider me surprised but then again it’s fairly difficult to make pizza taste bad lol
1 1/3 Tbsp is a lot of sugar for pizza sauce. 1 1/3 cups is gross. Tomatoes are sweet to begin with.
