*Panificio Torrente di Mario Torrente*
We start our morning in Trapani with a visit to Panificio Torrente di Mario Torrente, a traditional bakery known for its freshly baked pastries in a traditional wood fired oven. Everything here is made daily using time-tested methods, and you can truly taste the difference. From flaky cornetti to savoury pastries, this is the perfect place to experience a classic Sicilian breakfast and begin the day like a local.
*Pollero da Roberto*
Next, we head to Al Pollero da Roberto, a spot famous in Trapani for its incredible fried food. This place is all about bold flavors and satisfying street food, and it doesn’t disappoint. We try some incredible arancini, we also try cous cous and a variety of other fried specialties that showcase the local culinary traditions. It’s a must-visit if you want to experience authentic, no-frills Sicilian comfort food.
*Ristorante Antichi Sapori*
To finish our food tour, we visit Ristorante Antichi Sapori, a well-known local restaurant that truly delivers on both quality and atmosphere. We start with a beautifully prepared seafood platter that highlights the freshness of the region’s ingredients. Very different and very tasty food comes on this plate. Here we also try the local Pasta alla Trapanese, the most famous local pasta dish, to complete this delicious experience.
