Can’t decide between Italian or Korean, so I mixed both 😍 Chicken & Sausage Gochujang Pasta~

Creamy, spicy, cheesy goodness! Trust me, you need to try this. Recipe below 🫶🏼 Tak boleh pilih nak Italian atau Korean, so I mix both 😍 Chicken & Sausage Gochujang Pasta dengan @barilla Maccheroni. Creamy, pedas, cheesy Korang kena try! Resipi di ruang comment 🫶 Ingredients: 500g Barilla Maccheroni, boiled in salted water 300g boneless chicken thighs, cubed 2 tablespoons light soy sauce 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil 300g Italian-style chicken sausages 2 Tbsp butter 1 large red onion, chopped 8 cloves garlic, chopped 1 tablespoon tomato paste 4 tablespoons gochujang ½ tablespoon chilli flakes 250ml pasta water 300ml cooking cream 60g Parmesan, grated 120g mozzarella, cut into small cubes 3 stalks spring onion, thinly sliced Sugar Salt Black pepper Olive oil Method: In a bowl, mix the chicken with soy sauce, sesame oil, and a bit of black pepper. Let it marinate for 20 minutes. In the meantime, remove the casings from the sausages. Brown the chicken and sausage in a pan with a bit of oil over medium-high heat. Remove and deglaze the pan with a splash of water, don’t skip this step, it adds flavour. In the same pan, melt the butter, then saute the chopped onion and garlic. Stir in the tomato paste and cook until lightly caramelised. Add gochujang, chilli flakes, cooking cream, salt, and a little sugar. Return the chicken and sausage to the pan and let it simmer. Adjust seasoning to taste with more salt, sugar, or black pepper if needed. Toss the boiled Barilla Maccheroni into the sauce along with pasta water. Stir until the sauce is glossy, then mix in the grated Parmesan and spring onion. Scatter the cubed mozzarella over the pasta, cover the pan, turn off the heat, and let the cheese melt before serving.
