Italian Red Sauce Recipe
Note: I do not measure the ingredients. I taste as I go. But here is a basis for the family recipe.
2-3 cans of Marzano tomatoes, certified
1-2 sticks of butter
3 cloves of minced garlic
3 basil leaves
1 tablespoon of sugar, to taste
1-2 yellow onion(s)
2 teaspoons of oregano
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 small can of tomato paste
2 bay leaves
