When using onions/shallots on your pizza, do you usually Park cook them or if you cook them thin enough is that sufficient?

    Depends on your oven and cooking temp really. I usually just slice them thin and toss them with a little EVO to make sure they don’t burn.

    If it’s a fast cook, like my pizzas that are done in 2.5-3 minutes tops, I just slice them real thin. I need to try the method where you literally just use a peeler to get thin slivers of onion.

    There could be advantages to pre-cooking the onions.
