Butter – 4 tbsps
Garlic Cloves – 1 tbsp (5-6, Minced or Grated)
Parsley – 1tbsp, finely chopped
Salt – Pinch
Preparation:
In a bowl, take 4 tbsps of Soft butter (Butter at room temperature is enough as it is easily spreadable. Don’t melt it). Add 1 tbsp of Grated or Minced Garlic, 1 tbsp of finley chopped Parsley (Coriander leaves or Basil Leaves can also be used in stead of Parsley), Pinch of salt if using Unsalted butter (Salt is not required if using Salted butter). Mix it well. Now, the Garlic butter is ready. This can be used readily or can also be stored in an air tight container in refrigerator for 1 week. Spread Garlic butter to the bread on one side, as a thin layer, spreading allover. Apply very light on the other side too as it will be dried while roasting if not applied.
Method 1 : In a Conventional Oven: Preheat the oven to 425 F. Place the prepared Bread slices on a baking tray. Bake at 425 F for 10 min.
Method 2: On a Stovetop: Heat a tawa on stove, place the prepared bread on it keeping more butter side facing upwards. Close the lid, cook for about 3-4 min on low-medium flame with lid on. Turn to the other side, cook for another 4-5 min or until both sides turn light golden color on low-medium flame with lid on.
In both methods, Garlic bread tastes awesome. More Crispy and Crunchy when you cook it in oven. More Cripsy and Succulent when you cook on the stovetop.
