  2. Fun fact lol
    The reason it’s very thick and kind of “stringy” when you stir it is because most if not all pre-shredded cheese has some kind of (edible) powdery coating on it so all of the shreds don’t stick together, which is why if you’re making something like mac ‘n’ cheese almost every recipe says to shred your own cheese.
