Host Ernesto Morales-Ramos speaks with owner Alessandro Pazzaglia about the origins of the restaurant, originally named Baccano. After parting ways with his former associate, Alessandro kept the original Italian born chef, with the traditional recipes that made this Winwood eatery famous amongst European and Latino patrons.

The name 1888 Fiaschetteria is the same as the other restaurant Alessandro owns in Italy, run by his father.

So what makes 1888 Fiashetteria unique? A combination of genuine tastes from Italy, a collection of wines featuring the Pazzaglia family’s own Brunello Di Montacino red.
