  1. ⭐️ Recipe details- Cucumber Idlies ⭐️

    Ingredients-
    1.⁠ ⁠Cucumber 1 and half cup (grated)
    2.⁠ ⁠Coconut 3/4 cup
    3.⁠ ⁠Green chilli 2
    4.⁠ ⁠Handful of Fresh Coriander
    5.⁠ ⁠Salt to taste
    6.⁠ ⁠iD idly & dosa batter 500 gm

    For tempering-
    1.⁠ ⁠Mustard seeds 1 tsp
    2.⁠ ⁠⁠Roasted Chana dal 1 tbsp
    3.⁠ ⁠⁠Curry Leaves 10-12
    4.⁠ ⁠⁠Oil 1 tbsp
    5.⁠ ⁠⁠A pinch of heeng

    Method-
    1.⁠ ⁠Start by grating the cucumber into a bowl and add the finely chopped green chillis.
    2.⁠ ⁠⁠Next add fresh coconut, ginger and coriander to a mixer jar and pulse-blend it.
    3.⁠ ⁠⁠Mix this blend with the grated cucumber.
    4.⁠ ⁠⁠Add then add batter along with salt to taste.
    5.⁠ ⁠Now prepare the tempering with the ingredients given and oour it iver the batter mix.
    6.⁠ ⁠⁠Mix well and transfer the batter to the idly moulds for steaming.
    7.⁠ ⁠⁠Steam on medium flame for 8-9 minutes.
    8.⁠ ⁠⁠Once done, serve hot with tomato chutney and enjoy.

  3. Using grated bottle guard also makes very tasty idlis
    Instead of normal batter, you can use rice rava mixed with grated bottle guard for idli. Instant idli could be steamed.

  4. @cookwithdillifoodies should the water out of the grated cucumbers be squeezed out before adding anything to it?

  5. Bro her setup is insane yrr, definitely she have better mic, camera's. Her studio to utensils everything is high quality.

  6. i tried came out nice, but cooking time was different for me . First time i took it out and checked it was semi cookwd so have kept it again in idli mould will let you know how it comes out
