I swear there is another lentil recipe in this series where he says don't bother putting carrot and other veg in as garnishes. But at the end of the day if we're honest with ourselves there's no real recipe and it was his choice, it's that simple

I live mpw as a chef. But the amount of butter and salt is just something.
For the aubergine recipe, Marco said between 8 and 10 minutes (which is 9 minutes) but set his timer on the microwave for 8m 16secs.
The rules of time don't apply to him.
And frankly, nor should they.
