Pesto Pasta recipe 🍝🌿✨

🥗 Ingredients:
200 g pasta (penne / spaghetti / fusilli)
2 cups fresh basil leaves
3–4 garlic cloves
2 tbsp pine nuts / walnuts / cashews
½ cup olive oil
¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
½ cup fresh cream
1 stalk lemon grass (finely chopped or paste)
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
½ tsp lemon juice
Cherry tomatoes (optional)

🌿 Pesto + Lemon Grass Cream Sauce:

In a mixer, add basil, garlic, nuts, salt & pepper.

Blend while adding olive oil to make smooth pesto.

Heat 1 tsp olive oil or butter in a pan, add finely chopped lemon grass, sauté for 30–40 seconds till aromatic.

Add prepared pesto sauce + fresh cream, mix well.

Add parmesan cheese + lemon juice, cook on low flame for 1–2 minutes.

🍝 For Pasta:
Boil pasta in salted water till al dente.

Drain and reserve ¼ cup pasta water.

Add pasta to the sauce, pour reserved water if needed.

Toss gently for 1–2 minutes.

Extra parmesan
