Oxfam surveyed over 16,000 people in 17 different countries around the world about the food, they love the most. And yes, you guessed it right, PASTA topped the list!
So for this valentine’s day, cook this creamy delish pasta and top it with her favorite cheese… Trust us, this white lucky penne will stand for your purest love for her, even when words go inadequate

INGREDIENTS
Garlic, finely chopped – 3 nos
Chilli flakes or Red chilli, finely chopped – 2 nos
White button mushrooms, sliced – 100g
Parsley, finely chopped – few
Olives – 5 to 8 nos
Water – as required
Salt – as required
Pasta – 200g
Olive oil, extra virgin – 1.5 tbsp
Butter – 1 cube
All purpose flour – 1 tsp
Milk – 200 ml
Cheese – as much as preferred

INSTRUCTIONS
FOR PASTA
1. Pour water to a pan and heat up
2. Bring it to rolling boil, add salt
3. Add in the pasta, stir once in two minutes to avoid sticking
4. Cook as per manufacturer guidelines or cook al dente* (refer fact box in video)
Note: Don’t add oil as that would make the pasta oily and the sauce may not coat well on the pasta

FOR MUSHROOM
1. Pour oil to a pan and heat up
2. Saute the garlic, chilli flakes and mushroom on medium flame for 3 minutes, until mushrooms start sweating
3. Keep it aside and let it cool

FOR WHITE SAUCE
1. In the same pan, melt the butter
2. Add all purpose flour and mix well for a minute
3. Add the milk and cook till a creamy sauce consistency is reached

FOR MUSHROOM PASTA IN WHITE SAUCE
1. Add in the sauteed mushrooms and pasta to the white sauce
2. Add a little pasta stock, mix well so that the sauce coats on the pasta

Garnish with chopped parsley leaves, olives and top with your favorite cheese
