For the full recipe go to: www.lakesidetable.com This is a HUGE departure from my usual video style and something I’ve wanted to do for years. And soooo much fun to do!
This is my first and probably only stab at a Film Nior-esque. It’s also a tribute to the husband & wife bloggers who use wrote the blog www.eataduckimust.com Their video “In the Mood for Tuna” not only inspired this video but also inspired me to make my own YouTube recipe videos.
Part of me wanted to compile a bunch of the blooper clips at the end. Jerry and I had a ton of fun making this and had a very hard time keeping straight faces. We cracked up through this whole taping! But clip after clip of us busting a gut would ruin the sultry mood of this video and probably would not be near as entertaining to you as it is to us.
In 2018 we took a trip to Italy and stumbled across this amazing restaurant across the street from our hotel in Florence: Osteria Pastella. They make this dish table side with pasta they make daily in the front window of the restaurant. Divine!
You can literally get anything on Amazon. I’m an Amazon affiliate and if you click on this upcoming link and make a purchase I will get a percentage of the sale. We found this parmesan wheel on Amazon. Here’s the link: It’s $500 and some change as I’m writing this on 1/15/20 It’s from Parma Italy and they’ll ship it to you. I got mine in under a week. Wow! I keep it wrapped up in the freezer. I’ve had it for 1 year. It’s still good and we make this dish for New Years Eve and special occasions.
I hope you enjoyed this video as much as we enjoyed making it. And I hope it inspires you to have fun in your kitchen!!! Cheers! Madalaine
Special thanks to Keith for his most awesome-est filming skills You can find him at www.sutterfieldmedia.com
Please forgive any editing goofs. I loved doing the editing, but I’m still a total newbie. Keith gave me some really good pointers and I learned the rest here on YouTube.
The original song I wanted for this video was Siboney by Connie Francis. Love her! Written by Ernesto Lecuona. Brilliant!!!
