Was feeling under the weather so I made some fast vodka sauce with spicy italian sausage.

I tried out Bon Appรฉtitโ€™s Pasta Allรก Vodka recipe. Interestingly doesnโ€™t use canned tomatoes instead just double concentrated tomato paste. Definitely would recommend using the whole peeled tomatoes if you have the time. Flavor wasnโ€™t as full bodied as normal but I added a good bit of spice with fresh Thai chilis and extra red pepper flakes.

Also I broke my normal bowl to post recipes so I apologize for the anemic pictures.

Recipe:

2lbs spicy Italian sausage
2 onions
1 head of garlic
9 oz Parmesan cheese
2 tube double-concentrated tomato paste
5 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
4 chopped Thai chilies
9 oz vodka
1.5 cups heavy cream
2lbs. rigatoni
