Propping up the pool bar is 23 year old cat lover Zoe. He’s looking for someone who can make him laugh, and he’s in danger of being outdone on the humour front by 6ft 6 Max from Oxford. The chemistry is tangible for this handsome pair; has James finally found his first chance at love?
Checking out the talent poolside is physiotherapist and self-confessed neat-freak George, who thinks he’s spotted his date at reception. The lady in question is bang-tidy Cara, a fellow stickler for cleanliness. A shared love of fast-food gets these two off to a roaring start, and when George confesses he’s admired her from afar, sparks fly. But will George’s solution of white wine vinegar be enough to remove the pasta stain on Cara’s white dress? And could that be enough to win her heart?
As the sunsets on this brilliant series viewers are also treated to a blast from the past as lovebirds Vanessa and Julian check in to celebrate the two year anniversary of their first date at the Hotel. As the memories come flooding back, love truly is in the air, in what proves to be the most romantic end to the summer season in Italy ever.
